I want Donald Trump to run again too – as far away as possible from re-election as the next POTUS. Sadly, it is the largely Conservative Evangelical anti-gay preachers in the U.S. who want to see Trump restored into a position of power, so that they can re-claim their ascendancy over what they see as the need of a ‘truly-Christian’ ruling regime that country.
Of course, it is not only conservative (mainly Pentecostal) Evangelicals who would like to see Trump in power once again The more conservative among the U.S. Catholic Bishops would like him back – to shore up their opposition to what they see as the ‘un-Catholic’ rule of President Joe Biden. Joe is, at least a practisimg Catholic Christian, who attends Mass regularly. One wonders whether Trump – despite his Bible-waving incident in front of an Episcopalian Church on one occasion – is actually a practising Christian at all! (Given his history of abusive treatment of women. one hardly thinks so).
If Christianity were to be judged by the likes of the actions and initiatives of the former POTUS, no wonder people are losing The Faith – not only in the USA but around the world. God help us all!

Disturbing news, to say the least: It’s becoming clearer and clearer that Donald Trump is getting ready to run for president again — and he’s planning to hijack religion even more than he did in the last two campaigns, with help from his televangelist friends.
The evidence of a run is mounting. Trump is holding rallies across the country again, and launched a new social-media platform just this week. He has hinted that only bad news from a doctor could stop him. A recent CNN headline even proclaimed, “Donald Trump is ’99, 100 percent’ likely to run for president in 2024.”
Trump’s personal pastor, televangelist Paula White-Cain, relaunched his National Faith Advisory Board this fall.
Yet of all the evidence Trump will run, perhaps the only thing as stomach-churning as the Christian nationalist signs on display January 6 is a blasphemous new Georgia billboard comparing Trump to Jesus (pictured).
With nearly 80% of Republicans telling Quinnipiac pollsters they want Trump to run, this is a threat we have to take seriously.
Faithful America members are working to reclaim Christianity from Donald Trump, Paula White-Cain, and the religious right, putting faith into action for love and social justice. Make sure we can sustain this grassroots movement until 2024 and beyond — chip in $5 or whatever you can today >>
