Mr Catolick Speaks on the Inadvisability of the Anglican Covenant

I discovered just this morning an excellent video presentation, on Youtube, that would wonderfully benefit those Anglicans who are really puzzled as to what the Anglican Covenant is all about.

As Mr. Catolick says, we already have a Sacred Covenant–relationship with God – in our Baptism into Christ. Independent thought is a part of God’s will for us at Creation, and we do not need a formal ‘covenant’ that would have us lose our independence – our  moral freedom to operate under the free-will that is a part of our god-given humanity.

Unity is not the most important thing. Using the minds that God has given us – in a proper dependence upon the Holy Spirit to ‘work out our salvation with fear and trembling’ is the advice of the Church from the very beginning. Jesus Christ is the focus of our unity – not any man-made covenant.

Here is a copy of the Video. Do try it for yourself: (click on the next line and then on ‘Go t0′ to access the video properly) :-

Agape to all our viewers,
